Silk Roads II: Paths of Fortune is a return for Priory Games to the world of medieval trading simulation, introducing a plethora of new features and improvements to old mechanics. You can wishlist it here now!

Build your caravan

You can now truly be a master of a medieval merchant caravan. Hire hands from across the Silk Roads with unique skills, and traits which feature both benefits and drawbacks. Negotiate contracts with each member and see their skills increase as they build up experience and wealth as a member of your caravan, but be sure to keep them paid, fed and happy or they'll take their skills elsewhere.

Rule your camp

Life on the Silk Roads was never easy. Each party member will bring another hand which can be used to help make your way along the roads easier or faster, from foraging to guarding the camp, but be sure to give them plenty of rest.

The world in SRII:POF changes as you play.

Cities go to war, see market fluctuations or experience natural disasters. This changes everything from the routes you can take to the contents of the markets to the wealth of the city. You may even change the world as you play, by taking on quests for one culture or another.

Make your own way across the Silk Roads.

Travel from city to city, make your caravan masters of the paths with characters and animals specialised for different terrains. The world is truly yours to explore, but be careful, different roads present new obstacles.

Economic simulation

Trade a wide variety of goods. Goods reflect real trade goods on the Silk Roads from the wide spectrum of cultures and prices, but be sure to stay on everyone's good side as the very best goods are reserved for merchants with a high reputation.

Take part in the Colleganza

While you're making your fortune, return to Venice to purchase back your shares in the Colleganza to increase your take of the profit, but be warned, skilled party members will want their own share.

SR:CK was the very first project released by Priory Games and grabbed people who wanted to explore the medieval world. I'm excited to see how people respond to a similar idea with much deeper mechanics.
